All testing equipment under the Ziemon Intelligent Precision Machinery® brand adopts a servo direct-drive system to ensure high data accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility. Through preset programs including various sub-test configurations and rubber processability testing, it thoroughly reveals the viscoelastic properties of rubber and polymer materials at different shear rates, and is widely used in formula research & development and production process quality control. The under-development Unmanned Rapid Testing System AiRoboTest2025 consists of independent functional modules such as online sampling, robotic handling, intelligent sample preparation, three-dimensional caching and automatic testing. Brand Story

Many years ago, when we were installing rubber testing equipment at a tire factory, an experienced worker passing by asked curiously what kind of machine it was. When told it was used for rubber testing, he smiled proudly and said he could tell whether the vulcanization was good just by smelling and biting the rubber compound. Looking at his face, which was covered in carbon black except for a row of white teeth, I marveled at his rich experience while feeling deeply concerned about his working conditions…

Many years later, rubber testing equipment has become commonplace. Rubber factories own several, or even more than a dozen sets of such equipment, which play a key role in quality control during rubber processing and production. Yet we often receive calls from customers asking: why does the quality of finished products vary even when raw materials, formulas and processes remain unchanged? Every time I get such inquiries, that worker’s face comes to mind.

With technological advances, conventional testing methods have been widely adopted. However, rubber is irreversible after vulcanization and difficult to degrade or recycle. Once defective products occur, all the earlier investment in materials, labor and costs goes to waste, accompanied by additional environmental costs. Such differences in finished product quality stem from subtle variations in raw materials and processing — differences that can never be detected by mere “smelling” or “biting”!

Ziemon has arrived. As a team dedicated to rubber materials and automated & intelligent testing, we are driven by passion to deeply identify dynamic differences in rubber and polymer materials, improve on-site working conditions, reduce costs and eliminate defective products.

The Quality Control Rubber Process Analyzer RPA2025QC, which accurately tests the dynamic processability of rubber materials to upgrade the traditional “smell-and-bite” method, is our first achievement.

The Rubber Process Analyzer RPA2025, which thoroughly reveals the dynamic viscoelastic properties, vulcanization characteristics and post-vulcanization dynamic physical properties of rubber materials under a wide range of shear rate changes, is our second achievement.

“Unmanned testing” is the third answer that Ziemon is working on.
